Identity-led personal stylist Christina Chernyak's Bio for The Style Rite personal styling service.

Hi, I’m Christina.

For 20 years, I helped apparel brands define and perfect their style identity through fit. I know better than most how important fit is to style and how important style is to identity - both to a brand and to an individual.

Becoming a mother gave me firsthand experience with the sudden changes life can bring: a different body, a different schedule, and a new sense of self, plus a wardrobe that didn’t reflected any of that. I created The Style Rite to help women who find themselves in that same disconnected place with their clothing that I did. I created it because I needed it myself.

I'm a mother to two boys, an avid reader, and a lifelong admirer of fashion, based in San Francisco. I work with women in all stages of life both in person and virtually.

I'd love to help you feel like yourself again through your clothes.

The Approach

The Style Rite personal style inspiration images.

Having spent more than 7,000 hours in apparel fittings before becoming a stylist, I ground my practice at The Style Rite in fit. I believe in order to feel aligned with your clothing, they need to fit your whole self - the physical, the environmental, and the emotional.

The Physical

The space you take up.

Your clothes should move with you, not fight you. We focus on fit — not size — so you can show up comfortably as you move through your day.

The Emotional

The feelings in your spaces.

Getting dressed should feel like an expression, not a compromise. When you feel connected to your clothing, getting dressed stops being a chore and starts supporting who you are and what you need.

The Environmental

The spaces you frequent.

Where you go, what you do, how you get there, etc. Your wardrobe should support how you show up in the lifestyle you have.
